We at Ridgeland feel that our responsibility to our students extends beyond the classroom. Opportunities to participate, compete, and succeed are vital to a young person’s development. Whether it is Athletics, band, the fine arts, or academic competition; our goal is to compete in a dignified, sportsmanlike manner that brings credit to our school and our community.

The Ridgeland High school athletic department will serve our student athletes by helping them to become champions in life. 

We will accomplish this by believing in our student athletes, holding  them accountable, and supporting them as they work to meet the  expectations of our Ridgeland High athletics program. As coaches we  understand the importance of modeling these values for our student athletes, and will hold ourselves accountable to doing that.

I am excited to see our student participating in the numerous athletic and extracurricular opportunities provided at Ridgeland High School. They do a tremendous job in representing our school on the fields of competition as well as in the hallways and classrooms. These activities provide our student athletes with rich lifelong experiences.
I most proud of the fact that each of the RHS athletic teams qualified to receive the Scholar Athlete Award from the MHSAA. Their example in academics and sportsmanship truly make them great leaders
